The Amilla Villa Estate - World Class Dining

World Class Dining

With your own villa kitchen, and your katheeb on hand to organise in-house dining with your personal chef (at an additional fee), you may consider it a struggle to leave your villa.  But with so many restaurants a gentle five-minute walk along the beach, please don’t resist the temptation; each imaginative menu features top quality ingredients emphasising the best local produce.  And if the luxury of personal privacy still wins, it’s worth remembering that you can enjoy home delivery (at small delivery fee) of any dish from any restaurant, at any time of the day.

Amilla Beach Villa Residences - Providore

Providore

It stands to reason that you would like the kitchen at your Amilla Beach Residence to be provisioned according to your tastes and preferences, exactly as you would at home.  This is an expectation we’re happy to fulfill with Harrods-style efficiency and Fortnum flair.  Order your favourites from an extensive grocery list– Providore.  Items on the Providore list as well as premium meats, seafood and cheeses can be ordered from the Providore Gourmet list and charged to your account.

Feeling Koi

Over-water dining reaches new heights at Feeling Koi, which rises on stilts high above the lagoon waters – offering scene-stealers the chance to arrive by speedboat or even seaplane (though a gentle stroll along the jetty is stylish enough).  The star in Amilla’s foodie firmament, this fine-but-unfussy restaurant offers family-style dining inspired by Japanese Izakaya, playfully fusing the flavours of Japan, Mexico and France.  This is the place to gaze across the ocean a jump away, or watch the chefs jostle up a storm in the open kitchen.  Make sure you enjoy pre-dinner cocktails in the bar first; sunsets from here are picture-perfect.

Amilla Beach Villa Residences - Sunset Bar

Sunset Bar

Sunset Bar is situated in Amilla Maldives’ signature restaurant Feeling Koi. The stunning sunset bar on the rooftop features a large selection of cocktails, premium sakes and wines. Downstairs, the inviting lounge bar makes an exciting, intimate destination for dessert, post-dinner drinks and sounds by live DJs.

The Baazaar

Fanning out from the huge infinity pool – perhaps the largest in the Maldives – are the restaurants and bars that form the Baazaar, Amilla Maldives’ culinary and social hub. Joe’s Pizza, Fresh, and Barolo Grill. Each venue has its own distinct menu and décor (though they share a common lunch menu). But you can sit wherever you like – on the sand, inside one of the restaurants, even on a table marooned on an island in the middle of the pool. Then, candles on table, stars sparkling above, a sea breeze caressing tanned skin, choose from whichever menu takes your fancy. Don’t forget to plunge into the new Chill’d wellness café. With a chilled-out vibe, it will focus on wellness salads, wraps and cold dishes alongside Joe’s Pizza. Fish and Chips Shop is now the location of the new Baa Baa Bar. This enables guests to enjoy a sundowner on a prime spot on the beach.

Amilla Beach Villa Residences - Wine Cellar

The Wine Shop And Cellar Door

A bodega on a small dot in the middle of the ocean?  This vast space is heaven for wine lovers.  The wine library houses over 250 labels from all over the world, with a capacity for 8,000 bottles. There are regular curated wine tastings – or you could host your own – accompanied by artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.

The Emperor General Store

Enter this gourmet café and deli, and you’ll be hard-pressed to leave without an armful of fresh fruit, bakery items, preserves and artisanal treats.  You can order from the comfort of your villa or send your katheeb to meet a sudden craving.  But far better to pop in for a just-as-you-like-it freshly brewed coffee or cooling ice cream cone, take a seat for a casual sandwich or salad-bar lunch (in air-conditioned comfort or alfresco on the sand).
